Pancakes
Pancakes are a favourite of many, primarily as a breakfast meal but also as a snack.
Ingredients:
1) 4 oz. flour
2) 1/2 pint milk
3) 2 eggs
4) butter (for frying)
5) 1 teaspoon baking powder
6) pinch of salt
Method:
1) Sift baking powder, flour and salt into a basin
2) Add beaten egg and 1/2 the milk.
3) Blend and beat well until smooth
4) Add the remaining milk and leave to stand for a while
5) Then, grease bottom the frying pan
6) Pour in batter to cover pan and fry till golden brown on on side, turn and fry the other side
7) Turn on grease paper, spread with jam or sprinkle with sugar and lime juice
8) Roll up and serve
